Two years ago I began the "semi-retirement" hours at the Gitche Gumee Museum. I realize that after operating the museum seven days a week for more than two decades, some people were inconvenienced by the new hours. The private appointment options were instituted as a compromise to allow access to the museum (and now to the new rock shop), but to insure that my time is well spent. Being a one-person operation, I need time to make mineral art as well as to research and write more books. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
All books purchased from this website are a final transaction and cannot be returned or refunded.
Also, payment for private appointments cannot be refunded. Groups booking private appointments must show up on time. Since private appointments are booked in either increments of one hour (regular private appointment) or hour and a half (special private appointment) any group showing up late may forfeit some of their time. The private appointment funds paid in advance grant the group a credit in the Agatelady Rock Shop. If a group does not show up for their scheduled time, they may be granted the chance to reschedule their appointment.
Payments made in advance for lectures or classes will not be refunded if people do not show up, or if they are late for their scheduled times. If a group does not show up, they may be granted the chance to reschedule.
